15th Annual John Coltrane International Jazz & Blues Festival Returns to High Point

The 15th Annual John Coltrane International Jazz and Blues Festival returns to High Point in early September 2026, with the festival weekend opening Aug 30 per the Visit High Point calendar. The High Point festival honors the jazz legend's birthplace legacy with a multi-day lineup of jazz and blues programming.

Companion events extend the celebration across the Triad through September. A Coltrane JazzFest Golf Experience is scheduled for Sept 4 in High Point. In Greensboro, the John Coltrane Hometown History Tour runs Sept 5, and UNCG Jazz Ensembles I & II present "100 Years of John Coltrane" on Sept 24, marking the centennial of the saxophonist's birth.

Together, the festival and its satellite events anchor September as a celebration of John Coltrane's Greensboro-area roots and lasting influence on American jazz.
