NCMA Winston-Salem opens a full month of fall programs
The North Carolina Museum of Art Winston-Salem, the former SECCA in downtown Winston-Salem, starts a dense fall season this week.
Field Trip visits the S.I.D.E. Chair Library on Thursday, Sep 10. On Saturday, Sep 12 the museum runs its Educator Workshop, Reading the World Through Art, and the 2nd Saturday Sign Painting workshop with Chuck Johnson. The same day, the Hopscotch Day Party presents Southern Idiom, Expanded.
Later in the month: the Opening Reception for Process as Practice on Thursday, Sep 17, ART CRUSH with Kenny Wavinson & Proxevita on Friday, Sep 18, and Art in the Park: Botanical Art on Saturday, Sep 19. The museum's Book Club reads Another Life on Thursday, Sep 24, followed by Vinyl Lounge the same evening. Park Hangs with Kit McKay runs Friday, Sep 25.
October opens with Open Studio: Hidden Layers on Thursday, Oct 1 and the ART/LIT Teen Art Club on Saturday, Oct 3. All programs are free with the museum's regular admission policy.
