Open Sewing Lab

Come by at any point during our Open Sewing Lab to get "sewing machine certified.” You will be able to use a sewing machine whenever the library is open (with a reservation). Our Open Sewing Lab, held on the second Monday evening of each month, is intended for people who know how to use a sewing machine, but do not have one. Please note that this is not a class. Come by and create or repair apparel with your community! Sewing machines will be available on a first first-come, first-served basis. Some supplies, like thread, will be available, but we encourage you to bring your own. This is intended to be a self-guided program, but basic machine assistance can be provided.
